My design aesthetic is influenced by my BA in Studio Art, my ten years as a production artist for Hallmark Cards, Inc and a wild obsession with materials.
For the past 16 years, I have been designing items with fabric. I have made things for the home and classroom. I have made items for gifts and celebrations. My skill sets are vast because I get energized by the words, "Can you make ….. for me?" In my portfolio you will find everyday household decor, personal quilts and layettes, bridal gifts, softies and learning toys, clothing and bags. I enjoy making unique art pillows with needle arts applications such as embroidery, quilting and beading. You may find a few books that I have made, soft books and bound books. Out of compassion, I have made pillows and supports for clients with special medical needs. I have provided design assistance and small batch production to other small companies and fashion designers.
